No One Left Behind aims to contribute to significantly reducing poverty in York through the ministry of churches and Christian charities, working alongside civic authorities and other organisations in the city. You can read more about the project here.
In 2025 and 2026 we have been working on two different pieces of research:
The Understanding York Place Review - looking at the social, economic, and relational development of York, what is distinctive about poverty here, and how churches and the city could respond.
Mapping of church-based social action provision - looking at the scale and diversity of support provided by churches to their local communities.
